Delphian’s collaboration with the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT), which offers a recording platform to top-notch upcoming musicians, continues with this stimulating programme by Gdansk-born cellist Maciej Kułakowski and American pianist Jonathan Ware. It’s an inspired mix of genuine pieces for cello and piano.

At 4 years old, Maciej Kulakowski believed everyone played an instrument. His parents played the piano, his grandfather the trombone and piano and his uncles and cousins were musicians in Poland, so he naturally assumed everyone played something. "For me starting to play instrument was a natural thing. I couldn’t imagine not playing an instrument."

Maciej Kułakowski is named a prize-winner at the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) International Auditions held at Wigmore Hall.
